Power Forum - London 2010- November 17th - Clothworker's Hall
Welcome to the website of the London Power Forum.
The insurance of power generating utilities is a complex and demanding business and the purpose of the Forum is to provide an opportunity for education, discussion and debate covering topics of current interest and relevance to this sector of the London insurance market.
The Organising Committee is made up of Nick Barber (AIG), Rob Gallie (Catlin), Andy Butcher (Travelers), Rob Powell (Torus) and Richard Foulger (AEGIS) with Sue Culley acting as the conference organiser. The Forum is currently aimed at London market practioners within the power generating insurance industry.
In 2007, it became clear that there was a need for a vehicle in the London market at which leading industry practitioners could come together and discuss and debate relevant and current issues. The inaugural London Power Forum took place in November 2007 and was a great success with representatives attending from all of the power generating insurance related disciplines and communities including insurers loss adjusters, lawyers, engineers, forensic accountants and brokers.
The 2nd London Power Forum was held again at the Clothworker's Hall, London on Wednesday 19th November 2008. The organising committee once again assembled an agenda of topical subjects with highly regarded speakers from the power generating industry.
The 3rd London Power Forum was held again at Clothworker's Hall London on Thursday November 12rh and we had a very current and topical agenda. For the first time we introduced a guest speaker, Ken Livingstone, First Mayor of London to close the afternoon session.
The 4th London Power Forum will be held on November 17th - Please check the website for details.
